Technology plays a role in practically every major!

Marketing is my major and if you meet me, you could easily see as to why my major fits my personality perfectly. I chose my major so I could uncover innovative ways to promote new technologies and products. This was one of the biggest things that made me so interested with working with the Student Innovation Fellowship, or SIF. Having a stronger technology base could help me with both school and my future career. Technology is where the future of society is headed, so having a solid background in technology is essential to having a successful, lifelong career. Beginning my inroads into learning and understanding the advances in society starts with my college education. It’s important that I be able to promote myself in a competitive economy, especially since the number of college graduates is increasing each year. Having an intimate understanding of current advances in technology is an advantage over those with the same qualifications otherwise. #Marketingmajor #Technology
